Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully.
Our Guest must accept these Terms and Conditions when booking the accommodation.
The term “Guest” here means the person making the booking. The pronoun ‘her’ or ‘she’ applies to either gender.
The term “Lansdowne” means Lansdowne Farm 2014, Ltd., a NZ limited liability company.
Point of Contact, Communication.
Our Principal Guest contact – usually making the booking – will be the person with whom Lansdowne communicates and provides information, unless she passes that role to another in her party.
Naturally, relevant communications will be provided in a way that our Guest can communicate onward to others. We rely upon our Principal Guest to keep other members of her party informed.
Our Guest should check the room descriptions to ensure suitability for needs. We are happy to assist with room selections, provision planning, activities planned, facilities needed (projector, tables and chairs, etc), or whatever.
The Lansdowne Farm Common House is designed to accommodate and we welcome physically-disabled persons.
Updates.
Lansdowne has the right to change this web site and any information on this site, without notice.
Of course Lansdowne will honour the terms when the booking was made. If our Guest relies upon information on the site after the terms have changed, then the new terms will apply.
Charges.
The Guest will pay through the Lansdowne web site immediately by use of a credit card.
Guests can also pay via internet banking to: Acct Name – Lansdowne Farm 2014 Ltd.; Acct. no. 12-3191-0035938-00; Bank SWIFT code ASBBNZ2A
A booking is confirmed when a confirmation has been sent by email to the Guest. The confirmation will clearly state the occupancy dates and amounts to pay.
Credit cards Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Lansdowne reserves the right not to accept a particular credit card provider at our discretion. Lansdowne does not charge extra to cover credit card costs.
When completing the online booking form the Guest must be of legal age to do so and becomes legally bound to honour payment and other obligations.
The Guest agrees to pay for additional charges (as for transport, activities, food etc.) incurred during the stay, payable directly to Lansdowne upon check out. Lansdowne will add a standard service fee for outside services and supplies provided at the Guest’s request.
Cancellation policy.
The DEPOSIT is not refundable – unless we do not confirm your booking from the start. In which event the deposit will be totally refunded.
Once booked and the deposit received, the the BALANCE PAYMENT is made in not less than six (6) weeks prior to arrival, if you cancel we will refund as follows:
50% of the total paid if cancellation is received more than 30 days prior arrival;
25% will be refunded if more than 14 days prior.
No refund will be made for cancellation where less than 14 days remain prior to the arrival date..
Bookings are not transfer-able.
Damages.
The Guest agrees to pay the reasonable amount that Lansdowne may calculate as its losses and costs resulting from the Guest’s (and the Guest’s invitees) destructive actions and/or negligence. Normal wear and tea, un-foresee-able and accidental circumstances are excluded.
Limitation of Liability and Indemnity.
Lansdowne and its employees and agents have no liability for any special or consequential damages except where there may be gross negligence.
Lansdowne Farm has no liability for loss that the Guest may incur resulting from 3rd party providers, even if that 3rd party provider may have been arranged by Lansdowne on the Guest’s behalf.
The Guest agrees to indemnify Lansdowne Farm 2014 Ltd, its officers, employees and agents against all costs, claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses as a result of any act, omission or breach of these terms by the Guest or by her designee.
Your warranties.
Our Guest warrants agrees to the following.
- She is responsible (financially and otherwise) to make and pay for the accommodation and for payment for requested additional supplies and services.
- Information supplied to Lansdowne Farm is accurate and will not be deceptive or likely to deceive
- Lansdowne Farm will not be identified in wide-distribution social media – e.g., Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Privacy.
The Guest agrees – and will inform her guests – that Lansdowne Farm is NOT to be specially mentioned or identified in wide-distribution social media – e.g., FaceBook, Twitter, etc.
Lansdowne agrees to protect all our Guests’ identity, dates of stay, and all information unless specifically permitted to do so by the Guest. See the Lansdowne PRIVACY POLICY.
Governing Law.
The Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand and the Guest agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand High Court.
Any term which is void or unenforceable shall be treated as severed from these Terms and shall not affect the enforceability of the other terms. These Terms constitute the whole agreement between the Guest and Lansdowne Farm 2014 Ltd and shall not be modified except by agreement in writing.
